Affirmative Investment Management (AIM) Welcomes Chad Spitler, CEO of Third Economy, as Senior Adviser

London, UK (July 17, 2018) – Affirmative Investment Management (AIM) is pleased to announce that Chad Spitler, CEO of Third Economy, has been appointed a Senior Adviser for the company. In this capacity, Spitler will provide strategic guidance and help represent the capabilities of AIM, particularly on the West Coast of the United States.

Spitler is a highly experienced professional, with a special focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) and sustainable investing. A former BlackRock Managing Director and current Senior Advisor at CamberView Partners, Spitler recently founded Third Economy LLC, a consultancy focused on portfolio sustainability analysis, engagement and proxy voting, ESG integration and product development.

In the ESG space, Spitler has lead Initiatives to integrate ESG throughout the investment process and has been a vocal advocate for strong corporate governance and active engagement. He has advised regulators, non-profits, industry standard-setting bodies, and the some of the world’s largest investors on current investment trends, furthering best practice and contributing to the significant expansion of sustainable products.
